The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has recognized Mediodía Rosé, from Bodega Inurrieta, with the Alimentos de España Award for Best Rosé Wine in Spain, one of the most prestigious accolades in the Spanish wine industry.
The award recognizes a wine made entirely from grapes grown in Bodega Inurrieta’s own vineyards in Navarra’s Ribera Alta, using varieties such as Garnacha Tinta, Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano, Syrah and Merlot.
Mediodía is the result of a way of understanding wine based on caring for the land, research and innovation applied to the vineyard, with the aim of producing better wines while contributing to the preservation of Navarra’s winemaking heritage and expressing the character of its terroir.
In addition to this latest recognition, so far in 2026 Mediodía has received a Bacchus Gold Medal, a Gold Medal at the Challenge International du Vin, 90 points from Decanter, 90 points from Wine Enthusiast, and a Silver Medal at the Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards.
With this recognition, Bodega Inurrieta now holds three Alimentos de España Awards throughout its history. Following the recognition of Altos de Inurrieta 2014 as Spain’s Best Wine in 2018 and Altos de Inurrieta Reserva 2020 as Spain’s Best Red Wine in 2025, Mediodía once again places the Navarra-based winery among the leading names in Spanish wine.
